The Opportunity
Sound Pure is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, careful, and conscientious person who will be the sole operator in a department of one! This is a fun, dynamic, and independent position for someone that likes to manage their own day, make their own decisions (after proper training, of course!), work autonomously, and be an important part of the infrastructure to a small and vibrant business that specializes in fine musical equipment! You will be relied upon day-in, and day out to support our fun team, and will have all the tools and resources to be an independent success!
This role involves packaging, shipping, receiving, boxing, and overall taking extraordinary care with the fine musical equipment that we ship on a daily basis. In preparing shipments, extreme attention to detail is required with carefully handling, packaging, and shipping fine music products. Utilizing a well-defined set of systems and processes, you will complete the final step of our customer journey - prepping packages and shipping labels for the musical equipment's journey to just about anywhere in the world, and ensuring a safe journey to our customer's hands!
This role is an integral part of the daily operation of our business, which is in the business of selling up-scale musical instruments (guitars, drums) and pro audio/recording equipment to discriminating customers all over the world. Sensitive, fragile products require care when handling, and discriminating customers expect excellent packaging leading to a happy landing and a pleasurable box opening experience!
As a small, growing, exciting, and entrepreneurially spirited music business, aside from this primary job responsibility, other roles to support the operation of the facility and business (see below) are an additional part of this important role.
Those candidates with a background in musical instruments such as guitar and/or drums, or have a background or interest in music recording equipment would be ideal candidates for this position. This is an entry-level position with long-term growth prospects within the organization for those who are passionate and enthusiastic about the business of Sound Pure!
