The Position
Sound Pure is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organized administrator who is passionate about fine musical instruments.
This role is a key support role to our administrative team, consisting of warehouse support, and particularly the receiving, unboxing, and migration of the fine musical equipment we received throughout our facilities. This operational position will be the primary backup to the shipping operator, and may also have other administrative responsibilities such as adding items to inventory, updating existing product pages, backup product page creation for the website, and some support to the sales team.
As a small, growing, exciting, and entrepreneurially spirited music business, aside from this primary job responsibility, other roles to support the operation of the facility and business (see below) are an additional part of this important role.
This is a growth-oriented position. Those that excel will have the opportunity to grow into a full-blown Sound Pure Sales Specialist in one of our departments (Recording, Guitars, or Drums). Those candidates with a background in musical instruments such as guitar and/or drums, or have a background or interest in music recording equipment, would be ideal candidates for this position. Specific Responsibilities of the Role:
Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, then routing packages and engaging necessary team members
Assist in unboxing (and breaking down of) packages with careful handling (we deal in fine musical products!), conducting a thorough visual inspection, and testing
Identifying potential issues with arrivals and immediately notifying operations lead, and procurer or manufacturer as directed
Assist in item procurement and detail inspections, prior to orders going out
Support cue/workflow/backlog of all gear in processing and organizing warehouse/staging of instruments as needed
Updating internal tracking of Product Flow (Inside Trello) to ensure timely completion
Act as a primary backup to the shipping department in the case of overflow or absences
Product page creation as well as updating existing product pages (including any pricing updates to the website)
Other Miscellaneous Team Supported Duties as Assigned (we are a small fun team where everyone pitches in!)
Obtain Mastery of Sound Pure's Systems and Processes around Inventory, Warehouse, and Website (and Test out)
Attend weekly Level 10 Admin departmental meeting
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
Proficiency in using computer software
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
Ability to self manage and take initiative (does not wait to be told what needs doing)
Trustworthy/Honest
Reliable and punctual
Resourceful
Reliable Transportation
Meticulous attention to detail, and ability to follow protocols/checklist
Basic knowledge of Musical Instruments (Guitar, Bass, and Drums)

1 Year Customer Service, Sales, or Retail Experience (in-person, or call center)
4-year college degree preferred, but not required
